SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to method of fabricating reinforced closed hollow section. Proposed method of producing hollow section with cover consists in that said hollow section is equipped with structure including ribs and to be encapsulated by binder, activated on heating, at points where ribbed structure is to be secured to hollow section cover. Cover is arranged hollow section and binder is activated by heating to adhesion of cover with encapsulated structure.
EFFECT: higher strength of car body.
