SUBSTANCE: usage: in the field of electrical engineering to protect ship and other autonomous power plants (APP) with parallel operating generator units (GU) in the case of failure of one or more of them. According to the method of automatic unloading of parallel operating GUs at the moment of generation of a signal for disconnection of consumers, the load created by each consumer (group of consumers) is measured, taking into account values of loads created by each consumer (each group of consumers), consumers (groups of consumers) are selected for disconnection and disconnected from the network.

EFFECT: technical result is increase in reliability of identification of disconnected electric power consumers.
