FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can find application in a surgical approach to an ankle bone. It involves a biplanar osteotomy. One plane of the osteotomy passes through an internal anklebone. The other plane is inclined 60° to 90° to the first one with covering a medial portion of an anterior or posterior border of a distal articular surface of a shin bone. It is caused by necessity to visualise an anteromedial or posteromedial portion of an ankle body, or the whole ankle body.
EFFECT: use of the given invention allows providing a wide vision of the ankle bone, including the anteromedial or posteromedial portions, and also the whole ankle body.
