SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and microbiological industry, particularly to a method of producing L-arginine using Escherichia bacteria which is modified such that one or more genes which are constituents of the artPIQM-artJ cluster are inactivated in said bacteria.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain L-arginine with high efficiency.
