FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises position detector unit to define absolute positions o component arranged in device to turn therein. First and second sections of outer surface of said component accommodate multiple transmitting electrodes and multiple receiving electrodes. Definite number of transmitting electrodes is connected with relevant number of receiving electrodes to make pairs of interconnected electrodes. Besides, there is read-out device rigidly secured to device casing. Said read-out device comprises multiple transmitters to communicate with one or several receiving electrodes and is equipped with multiple receivers to communicate with transmitting electrodes.
EFFECT: contactless determination.
