FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: obtaining super-resolution of images involves exposing several frames, obtaining initial images by reading from a sensor, equalising said images, forming a magnified image and filtration thereof with a filter. The initial image is obtained from a digital sensor in form of a continuous sequence of frames via high-speed photography, where the frame frequency is inversely proportional to the value of the scanned part of the light-sensitive region of the sensor. The magnified image is formed by merging initial low-resolution images and resolution is increased using a nonlinear filter by applying the filter to the magnified image. The magnified image is formed by merging the clearest frames of the initial images.
EFFECT: obtaining a high-resolution magnified image using several low-resolution frames, as well as possibility of high-speed photography of several image frames when scanning only part of the sensor.
