SUBSTANCE: through induction heating, the device heats a metal plate (1) passing inside induction coils (2), wherein conductors (2a) and (2b), which are parts of the induction coil and lie on the front and back surface of the metal plate (1), are placed such that in the vertically projected image on the metal plate (1), the conductors (2a) and (2b) retreat from each other in the longitudinal direction of the metal plate (1), where the peripheral part of at least conductor (2a) on the front surface of the metal plate (1) or conductor (2b) on its back surface lies inclined or arc-wise; and magnetic conductors (10) lie outside the induction coils (2).
EFFECT: high uniformity of heating and minimum loss of energy in the magnetic conductors.
