SUBSTANCE: induction heating device for a metal strip includes a first induction coil element and a second induction coil element arranged parallel to the metal strip and across the metal strip, which moves in the longitudinal direction, and they are arranged to protrude beyond the metal strip, and not to overlap with each other in the direction of movement of the metal strip, and the element of the magnetic core, located between the first element of the induction coil and the second element of the induction coil, and located to cover a large area of the end portion in the width direction of the sheet of metal strip on the side of each of the first induction coil element and the second induction coil element, and close a small end area in the center between the first induction coil element and the second induction coil element.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability to control the temperature distribution at the end and in the direction of the width of a sheet of metal strip.
