FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ash collectors and may be used at thermal electric power stations. Proposed device comprises inlet branch pipe, casing, outlet branch pipe, inlet gas duct with water sprinkler made up of manifold with nozzles, settling chamber provided with heat exchangers and separation partition immersed in chamber. Separation partition bottom part immersed in chamber has lengthwise grooves with constant pitch. Water is forced into gas duct via pipeline communicated with water collection tank receiving water via outlet branch pipe from setting chamber overflow opening. Every nozzle comprises axially symmetric case wit its axis perpendicular to manifold tube opening axis. Straightening element with central sleeve is arranged in nozzle on manifold tube flow opening side. Nozzle case has two ledges opposed perpendicular to nozzle axis to allows fastening to manifold by locks. Nozzle case bottom has taper throttle orifice communicated with mixing chamber arranged between throttle orifice and mixing chamber.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of flue gas cleaning due to increased spraying surface area.
