FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to production of rolled sheet at reversing mill from low-alloy skelp steels. Straightening is carried out directly after accelerated cooling of rolled stock in mot over that three passes at appropriate metal temperature. Note here that at least five consecutive sign-variable bendings are performed in every pass. At sheet-stretching machine inlet first pair of bendings are set at maximum amplitude defined by relation specified in cited claim while amplitude for every other pair of bendings is defined by relation specified in invention claim.
EFFECT: higher mechanical properties at required flatness.
