FIELD: rolled stock production, namely straightening steel plates in roller type straightening machines by multiple sign-variable bending.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of deforming plates by multiple sign-variable bending at normalized temperature. Plates are deformed between two rows of rollers at temperature no more than 700°C, at roller diameter no more than 500 mm and at bending number no less than 3. In particular case sheets of carbon steels are straightened by two stages. At first stage plates are straightened at deformation degree 10 -15%, temperature 600 -700°C and roller diameter no more than 300 mm. At second stage straightening is realized at deformation degree 1.0 - 3.0% at temperature 300 - 600°C and roller diameter no more than 400 mm. In other case plates of low alloy steels are straightened for two stages. In first stage plates are straightened at deformation degree 10 -15%, temperature 500 - 600°C and roller diameter no more than 300 mm; in second stage plates are straightened at deformation degree 1.0 -3.0%, temperature 400 - 500°C and roller diameter no more than 400 mm.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of rolled plates, less loss of yield.
