FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sound absorbing structure with cellular filler to be used in aircraft engineering, ship and car building, etc. Proposed structure comprises outer and inner liners and cellular filler arranged there between and containing mutually intersecting corrugates sections jointed together by grooves made in sections with symmetric crimps. Section with symmetric crimps features developed contact surface at crimp apices. Grooves are made to depth equal to section height minus material thickness and at distance defined subject to preset curvature radius, tolerable strain and material elastic modulus. Apices of crimps of second section are directed in one side while its base doubles as outer liner.
EFFECT: higher elasticity, strength and reliability, lower costs.
