FIELD: sound suppression constructions for absorbing acoustic vibrations created by gas flows and blowers thereof.
SUBSTANCE: method involves securing cellular panels comprising resonator blanks with related outer facings and/or inner facings contacting with gas flow, said facings being equipped with through perforations, which define in conjunction with panel cells resonators; forming cellular panels by pressing, for example, vacuum pressing process, or by injection molding of thermoplastic resin for forming cells made in the form of truncated pyramids defining continuous apexes; bending panels and, while securing with facing(s), imparting shape of first and second curvature order. Method is preferably used for manufacture and operation of gas and air tracts of aircraft engine and air-pad type vessel engine, as well as gas pumping units of main pipelines.
EFFECT: reduced weight, decreased labor intensity for manufacture of sound absorbing construction of gas tract, increased efficiency in reducing of sound created by gas or air flow during passage thereof through tracts of vehicle engine.
