FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, construction and other fields of activity where lightweight structures in the form of three-layer panels are used. The panel consists of two skins and a folded core located between them, connected to the skins. The cavities in the rows of the corrugated core contain a filler, which is located discretely in the rows of the core, with gaps between the filler elements, in a checkerboard pattern with respect to the filler elements of adjacent rows.
EFFECT: reducing the weight of the three-layer panel while maintaining its load-bearing capacity.
