FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry. Proposed method of reducing deposits of solid paraffins and/or asphaltenes from water-oil mix in pipeline comprises mounting key element made from magnetically conducting material around pipe and coil wherefrom said key element extends. Said coil is excited by radio-frequency electric signals to generate radio-frequency magnetic flux in said key element generating magnetic field to be transferred from key element via pipe fluid from specified position of said key element. Said field causes creation of homogeneous seed crystals in mix whereon particles of solid paraffins or asphaltenes are deposited and carried via pipeline.
EFFECT: reduced amount of deposits, preventing pipeline corrosion.
