FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas field, particularly to methods and means of protecting downhole universal electric submersible pumps (UEPN) during extraction of hydrocarbon raw material. Device comprises an electromagnetic emitter with core, generator, control device, receiving-transmitting unit, power supply unit and interface unit. First output of interfacing unit is connected to stator winding of submersible electric motor of well electric centrifugal pump installation, second output is connected to input of power supply unit, and third output to first input of receiving-transmitting unit. First output of receiving-transmitting unit is connected to first input of interfacing unit, and second output is connected to first input of control device. First output of control device is connected to second input receiving-transmitting unit, second output of which is connected to first input of control device, second output of which is connected to generator input. Generator output is connected to first input of electromagnetic emitter. UEMP further comprises a unit of frequency meter and current emitter, controlled current source. Output of controlled current source is connected to second input of electromagnetic emitter, and input is connected to third output of control device, wherein second input of control device is connected to output of frequency measuring unit and emitter current, input is connected to second output electromagnetic emitter.

EFFECT: high efficiency of electromagnetic protector in protection of UEPN from natural hydrate and hydrate-hydrocarbon deposits.
