FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: at least one surveyed bed of underground formation is isolated. Liquid is pumped into at least one bed of underground formation at pumping pressure exceeding pressure of underground formation fracturing during period of pumping. The well is closed during a period of closing. During period of pumping and during successive period of closing there are measured data on pressure drop from underground formation. By means of a model of hydraulic fracturing/dropping pressure and by analysis of data on pressure drop there is quantitatively determined permeability of at least one bed of underground formation. Also, bed fluid medium is either weakly compressed or compressed. Permeability of the bed is quantitatively determined from the point of matching to fracture closing or from the point of matching upon closure of fracture by mathematic dependencies.
EFFECT: upgraded accuracy in analysis of beds properties.
