SUBSTANCE: door for a domestic appliance comprises a panel (2) at the side of the appliance and a decorative panel (7) at the outer side. Both panels are fixed to each other at the distance of a free space (32). On the decorative panel (7) or on the outer door surface (2) in the free space (32) there is at least one gap (15) parallel to the door panel (7) or the outer door surface (2). The decorative panel (7) and the outer door surface (2) are connected to each other by means of an angle (16). The first shelf (17) of the angle (16) enters the gap (15), and the second shelf (18) is fixed at the end (4) of accordingly the outer door surface (2) or the decorative panel (7).

EFFECT: increased reliability of decorative panel fixation.
