FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: dipole antenna has a thin rectangular dielectric substrate on the front and back surfaces, having a pair of large and a pair of small sides. There is a slotted line section at the back surface of the substrate. There is also a solid rectangular printed conductor whose small side coincides with the shorted end of the slotted line section, and the other small side coincides with the second small side of the substrate in its centre part. Two parallel dipoles of different length are made on the front surface of the substrate such that the distance between adjacent edges of their narrow printed conductors is equal to their width. A power microstrip line is also made on the front surface, wherein the beginning of this line is galvanically connected to the narrow printed conductors of both dipoles. The end of the power line coincides with the small side of the substrate and serves as the input/output of the antenna. An auxiliary microstrip line with an open end is also made on the front surface, wherein its beginning is galvanically connected to the narrow printed conductors of both dipoles. In the substrate in the gap of the slotted line section, there is a longitudinal slit, the length and width of which are equal to corresponding dimensions of the gap between the edges of the printed conductors of the slotted line section (8).
