FIELD: antenna technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction of free-standing antennas and multi-pole antennas and phased antenna arrays of radar and radio navigation systems with linear polarization of radio emission in two frequency-separated bands. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that a printed dual-band dipole antenna contains a thin rectangular dielectric substrate 1 with front 2 and back 3 surfaces, having a pair of large 4, 5 and a pair of small 6, 7 sides. On the back surface 3 of the substrate 1, a segment 8 of the slit line is made. Here, a solid rectangular printed conductor 11 is made, the small side 14 of which coincides with the short-circuited end 9 of the segment 8 of the slit line, and its other small side 15 coincides with the second small side 7 of the substrate 1 in its central part. Two dipoles of different lengths with stepped halves are made on the front surface 2 of the substrate 1. At the same time, the printed halves 16, 17 of the longer dipole have wide elongated conductors 20, 21 at the remote ends, and the printed conductors 18, 19 of the smaller dipole have wide elongated conductors 22, 23 at the adjacent ends. The feeding 28 and auxiliary 31 microstrip lines are also made on the front surface 2, while the end 30 of the feeding line coincides with the small side 7 of the substrate 1 and serves as the input/output of the antenna.
EFFECT: increased frequency separation band, which provides the separation of about an octave and a half of two adjacent sub-bands close to the lower and upper frequency boundaries of the separation band.
