SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises feeding piece goods by at least one conveyor to two grippers located abreast in conveying direction to place said piece goods on free placing positions transferred on at least one conveyor for containers. On detecting reduction in or termination of feed, control over grippers is carried out in operating conditions that differ from common conditions.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of container filling.
