SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of drink portions. Capsule 1 consists of case made up of, preferably, symmetrical solid of revolution with side wall and bottom made integral therewith and capsule cap to make closed chamber containing fluid for drink preparation. Cap and bottom allow fluid flow via chamber from cap to bottom and their piercing by appliances located outside of capsule. Note here that substance is placed directly on capsule bottom. Bottom has annular groove with its wall inner section 9 making zone of rigidity, preferably, of truncated-cone shape. Note here that groove bottom 11 forms zone of piercing.

EFFECT: optimum fluid flow and drink powder extraction.
