SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of making a beverage using a portion capsule, wherein first step of method comprises preparing portion capsule, at second step of method bottom of capsule is perforated using an external perforating means, at third of step method a filtering element is at least partially removed from bottom of capsule and at fourth of step method liquid is passed through portion capsule.
EFFECT: disclosed method provides controlled smooth flow of liquid from capsule, which is achieved due to preliminary puncturing of bottom and withdrawal of filter element.
