FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method involves plant growing, exudation of cell sap from the tissues of 3-5 typical of vegetative plants during ontogenesis "fruit formation - seeds formation", measuring of osmotic pressure of cell sap (CSOP) of each of these plants, selection of plant forms with their CSOP lower than critical CSOP in the pathogen mycelium of charcoal rot Macrophomina phaseolina. To determine CSOP of plants tissue of the top part of its leading shoot or tissue of the top part of its most developed side shoots of the first order is used. As plants with complex resistance to charcoal rot M phaseolina and Fusarium wilt. Fusarium spp forms of plants with their CSOP ranging from 670 to 930 kPa are selected.

EFFECT: invention allows improving accuracy of selection while maintaining life of the test plants to obtain their offspring.
