FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: according to the first version of the method to form a connection of two parts in a connecting area by means of a nail, having a nail head equipped with a circular slot at its lower side, a nail rod and a nail spike, the nail is driven with the help of an assembly tool in the axial direction into parts that do not have previously prepared holes. The nail spike penetrates through both parts with exit from a part that is away from the nail head. At the same time in the part arranged at the side of the nail head there is a toroidal bulge of material that protrudes into a circular slot of the head, and in the part that is away from the nail head there is a crater-like bulge of material protruding in the direction opposite to the nail head. The nail may have serrated corrugation. According to the other version, several connections are formed between parts, at the same time the assembly tool is serially continuously moved by a robot to connecting areas, and during this displacement nails are driven into parts by the first specified method. The nail for formation of connection of two parts in compliance with the specified methods is characterised by the fact that the nail spike is ogival with the ogival coefficient from 3 to 5.
