FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sorption cleaning and may be used in water treatment for household water supply and purification of effluents in filtration plants. Proposed material contains Cambrian clay, breakage of ceramic articles, dolomite, refractory clay and sand-based wastes of steel works. Ratio of components is as follows (in wt %): Cambrian clay - 33.0-47.0, refractory clay - 18.0-22.0, dolomite - 13.0-17.0, wastes of steel works - 18.0-22.0, breakage of ceramic articles - 4.0-6.0.
EFFECT: higher heavy metal sorption capacity.
