FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning and degreasing in open tanks. In compliance with proposed method, solvent is potted into washing tank its level being maintained at optimum distance from tank edge defined by mathematical relation. In cleaning, head supply from outside to washing tank body is reduced, for example, by heat insulation.
EFFECT: reduced losses of solvent.
