FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a stock to manufacture a screw tubular conveyor in the form of a cylindrical rotary pipe with a screw spiral installed inside to transport and mix loose material. The method includes manufacturing a solid stock, comprising a basic section in the form of a convex quadrangle, at least with one side tab, the basic section is defined by the first and second pair, accordingly, of the opposite edges, at the basic section there are the bending lines passing between the second pair of edges and in parallel to them, and at least one side tab, on at least one of edges of the first pair made as a whole with the basic section at the level between two neighbouring bend lines or between one of the edges of the second pair and the neighbouring bend line, bending of the side tab at the angle Y of the tab bend relative to the basic section along the edge, on which the tab is connected as a whole with the basic section, and bending of the basic section along the bend lines accordingly at the angle δ of the side surface bend so that the basic section forms a spiral section of the side surface of the rotary pipe, and the side tab bent to this forms a segment of the screw spiral installed inside the rotary pipe. The invention also relates to a screw tubular conveyor manufactured by this method.
EFFECT: invention provides for method simplification and possibility to make a screw tubular conveyor of continuous length with small diameters relative to their length.
