FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to machine-building, in particular, to finishing and strengthening treatment of stocks. Rotation movements are given to a stock and a deforming tool around their axes. Line feed is imparted to the deforming tool. The deforming tool is used that comprises deforming elements in the form of rings of a steel helical cylindrical spring of round section and a body in the form of a stator of three-phase asynchronous shorted electric motor, inside which there is a rotor formed as a hollow shaft installed in rolling bearings. The specified rings are installed in a hole of the rotor and are based in it with the help of washers with slots for their orientation. Rings with washers are fixed in the rotor hole with the help of nuts screwed into threaded parts made at the ends of the rotor on the surface of its hole. Deforming elements are adjusted and tightened with the help of the specified nuts.
EFFECT: technological resources are expanded; efficiency and quality of processing is increased.
