SUBSTANCE: there is description of piston, as well as reciprocating expander with piston, which has piston head, piston neck, as well as piston skirt; at that, piston head has at least one groove passing in circumferential direction and suitable for location of piston ring, and piston skirt has sleeve for bolt and guide surface on its outer circle, which is suitable for direction of piston along inner wall of cylinder. Outer diameter of piston neck is smaller than outer diameter of piston head and/or piston skirt and neck length approximately corresponds to piston stroke in assembled state. There can performed reliable start-up of steam-loaded reciprocating expander, as well as effective separation of oil and steam circuits.
EFFECT: preventing mutual contamination of circuits due to penetration of the appropriate medium.
