FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: waste heat recovery system for split-cycle engine is proposed. Air compressor is connected to heat exchange unit. Ambient air intake connected to air compressor takes the air to air compressor. Outlet compressed air element on air compressor, which is connected to engine compression cylinder, supplies compressed air from air compressor to the engine. Waste heat of the engine is supplied to heat exchange unit, and energy of waste heat is used for actuation of air compressor that takes the ambient air through the intake, compresses and supplies it to the engine through compressed air outlet.

EFFECT: increase in engine efficiency, reduction of fuel consumption and more complete utilisation of heat energy generated with the engine.
