FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: digital communication system for residential, administrative and similar buildings has a design with several terminals (1), (1')…(1n), connected to form a digital network using two data buses - read bus and write bus - through differential transmission with hybrid wiring layout, based among other things on cables with unshielded twisted wires, each terminal consisting of a programmable logic device (PLD) card (7), which has a programmable logic device for controlling several cards connected to card (7). Said cards are the main card (8) and user interface card (9), which enable a user to configure different versions of the system, where it is also possible to connect one or more expansion cards (11-11') for input and output of audio/video signals, the Internet, a telephone line or automatic entry door line, as well as remote control and signalling cards (10) for activating external loads, activating signalling devices and obtaining signals from sensors.
EFFECT: high reliability of the system.
