FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water filters intended primarily for water cleaning at transport facilities. Filter hollow casing 1 has inlet branch pipes 2 and flange 3 for attachment to transport facility water tank. Sump 4 is attached to casing 1 from below, wherein plug-in filtration element 5 made from wire permeable material is arranged with radial clearance S. Filtering capacity varies along thickness of filtration layer 5 from its edges to center from 20-30 mcm to 76-85 mcm. Flange 6 is arranged atop said sump 4 to attach the latter to casing 1 and to secure plug-in filtration element 1 inside casing 1. Opening is arranged at sump bottom stopped by plug 7 to mechanically clear clogged filter. Drain branch pipe 8 with driven valve 9 is secured to sidewall of sump 4. Filter is equipped with water pressure pickups 11 and 12 coupled with valve drive 10. Inner edges of sump flange 6 and flange 3 have annular ledges 13 and 14 with tapered sections for centering and locking plug-in filtration element 5 directed inside filter casing 1.
EFFECT: increased mean time between repairs.
