FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises fitting roll sleeve with clearance on shaft with collar between spacers that are tightened by fasteners. Axial and radial displacement is eliminated by assembling said roll sleeve from inner and outer parts. Note here that sleeve inner part is cut along generating line and fitted freely said shaft while outer part is assembled from replaceable rings to be fitted on inner part outer cylindrical surface, and, thereafter, radial interference between said inner and outer parts is created by aforesaid fasteners. Note that said replaceable rings are additionally secured.
EFFECT: reliable joint, simple fabrication, repair and replacement.
