SUBSTANCE: method includes repeated use of roll axes with subsequent replacement of worn-out tires. After unbanding the axis 2, it is regrinded along surface D to a smaller diameter with a thrust collar 3 and a thermal shoulder 4 made to eliminate axial displacement of the band, after which the roll is assembled and installed on the axis 2 from the side of the thermal shoulder 4 until it comes into contact with the heated support shoulder 3 bandage 1, having a hole with a diameter D, ensuring an interference fit of the bandage on axis 2.

EFFECT: increased service life of the roll axis due to repeated replacement of tires.
