FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to illumination and light signaling system to help aircraft pilots orient in landing, take-off and running on runway in complex weather conditions and night. Proposed system comprises two laser visible spectrum irradiators with collimated beams mounted at runway axis end. First and second irradiator beams are spaced apart at minor equal angles (up to 5 degrees) in symmetry about axial vertical plane passing via runway axis. Laser bean inclination to runway plane is set to be smaller than aircraft descent trajectory in landing.
EFFECT: electric power saving and higher safety in take-off and landing.
