FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocketry, particularly, to production of ballistic powders for solid propellant rocket engines. Proposed plant comprises integrated drying 1 and auger 3 extruders with straight taper augers 4, and drying unit 2. Bodies of augers 5 in their taper section are detachable and coupled with spinneret 6 in drying auger 1 and with moulding tool in extruder 3 controlled by remote bayonet locks 8. Drying unit 2 is arranged between augers 1 and 3 and consists of top section 26, centre section 9 and drying chamber 25. The latter comprises heating jacket 10, heated hollow cone 11, level pickups 12, and hot air feed union 16. Center section 9 incorporates union for connection with vacuum pump 15. Granulator 17 with blade head 19 equipped with remote-control drive 24 is arranged at outlet of spinneret 6 of auger 1.
