FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic synthesis, specifically to a method of producing novel organoaluminium compounds: 1-iodo-2-alkyl-3-(trimethylsilyl)-1,3-bis-(diisobutylaluminium)propanes. The compounds can be used as components of catalyst systems in oligomerisation and polymerisation of olefin, diene and acetylene hydrocarbons, as well as in fine organic and organometallic synthesis. The method involves reacting 1-alkyl-2-(trimethylsilyl)acetylenes with triisobutylaluminium in the presence of diidomethane in an argon atmosphere at temperature 20°C and atmospheric pressure in dichloromethane for 5-7 hours.
