FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing diisobutyl(2-alkyl-3-(trimethylsilyl)-cyclopropyl)alanes of general formula (I): where R=n-C4H9, n-C5H11, n-C6H13, n-C8H17. The method involves reaction of 1-alkyl-2-(trimethylsilyl)acetylenes of general formula RC=CSiMe3, where R is as described above, with triisobuylaluminium i-Bu3Al in the presence of diiodinemethane CH2I2, taken in molar ratio 1-alkyl-2-(trimethylsilyl)acetylene : i-Bu3Al : CH2I2=10:(25-35):(25-35). The reaction takes place in an argon atmosphere at temperature 20-22°C and normal pressure in dichloromethane for 3-5 hours.
EFFECT: invention enables production of diisobutyl(2-alkyl-3-(trimethylsilyl)-cyclopropyl)alanes of the formula given above.
