SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used in cattle farms. The device to unwind rolls of stalked fodders comprises a frame with a body, on the bottom of which there are support mechanisms and a cutting disc. The body is equipped with a feeding mechanism made as hydraulically controlled beams. With one end the beams are hingedly fixed on the front wall of the body, and discs with needles are arranged on the other end of the beams. The body has an unwinding drum consisting of two parts with self-removing pins and a circular cut disc between them. The diameter of the cut disc exceeds the diameter of the unwinding drum. The frame is equipped with a hydraulically controlled rotary back wall. Driveless roller beds are installed on the frame and the back wall.

EFFECT: device provides for reliable process of layer separation from the roll and reduced unevenness of its dispensing into a feeding trough.
