FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method refers to agriculture and land reclamation. Zonal treatment of soil is carried out in the method, and potato breeds are selected from early-ripe types. Planting is done, watering is provided to ensure lower moisture limit of at least 80% of moisture capacity, plant care and harvesting are carried out. At the same time the timeframes for potato planting are determined as follows: T_p=D_tC -[B_p+(15÷17)], where C_p - time of planting, D_tC - date of the first autumn frost in air, with probability of 10%; V_p - vegetation period, days, 15÷17 - preemergence period, days, and watering is carried out in a differentiated manner: immediately after planting and prior to budding stage the upper soil layer of 0.2-0.3 m is moistened, in the remaining vegetation period - 0.6 m soil layer.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to preserve high seed properties of imported source material for several years and to program crop capacity level of summer planting in the amount of around 20-30-50 t/ha.
