SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of medicine. Protective device for endoscope contains casing with rigid tubular cylindrical part, combined with flexible sleeve. Rigid tubular cylindrical part is made from light-conducting material. Rigid tubular cylindrical part is made with possibility to direct light from light source from proximal end to distal end. Distal end of tubular cylindrical part contains means for dispersion and/or orientation of light coming by tubular cylindrical part. Endoscope ensures application of protective device for illumination of examined cavity in patient's body.
EFFECT: application of said group of inventions ensures sterile protection due to application of casing with sleeve.
