FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical field and deals with method of production of tablet which releases active ingredient corticosteroid in specified variable place of gastrointestinal tract, which includes specifying place of gastrointestinal tract to which it is desirable to deliver corticosteroid; formation of tablet with coating, which has corticosteroid-including core and swelling adjuvant, and inert external coating, which does not swell and is not subjected to erosion; pressing said tablet coating under pressure, selected in such a way that it leads to release of corticosteroid in preliminarily specified place, namely, application of pressure of coating pressing up to 600 kg ensures release of corticosteroids in upper part of intestine, and pressure exceeding 600 kg - in lower part of intestine. Invention also describes tablet, obtained by claimed method and its application for treatment of inflammatory diseases.

EFFECT: invention provides medication delivery system for release of active component corticosteroid in desirable parts of intestine independently on food intake.
