SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a method for producing a tablet that releases the active ingredient glucocorticoid at a preset place of the gastrointestinal tract. The above method involves determining a place of the gastrointestinal tract, to which glucocorticoid is supposed to be delivered; forming a coated tablet with a core containing glucocorticoid and a swelling adjuvant, and a non-swelling and nonerodable inert coating; and pressing the coating of the above tablet at a pressure specified so as to cause a release of glucocorticoid at the above preset place. The invention also refers to the tablet prepared by the above method and using it for treating inflammatory diseases.

EFFECT: invention provides a drug delivery system for releasing the active ingredient glucocorticoid in the target intestinal departments notwithstanding the food ingestion.
