FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and devices for analysis and management of metering seeds. The two versions the devices contain a sensor located next to sowing cells and transmitting signals of seeds availability, indicating the presence or absence of seeds in the cells when the cells are close to the sensor, and a processor that receives signals about the presence of seeds. In the first version the processor provides an indication of presence or absence of seeds in the seeding cells to facilitate adjustment of the regulated system of seed meter to maintain the amount of seeds in a sowing cell at a given density of planting. In the second version the processor determines the amount of seeds and missed seeds in response to signals on availability of seeds and an indication of their number by seed-counting detector. The device in the second version also has a meter housing with a light source in it to illuminate the sowing cells. In the third version the device has a meter housing and a unit for determining the presence or absence of material in the cells, means for planting density on land area, and a means to provide guidance in response to the presence or absence of material in the cells and an indication of planting density on the land area about two and more seeds in the seeding cells, empty seeding cells, or blocked seeding cells. The method includes the steps which provide signals to the processor, installation the sensor close to the sowing cells to determine the captured seeds before distribution through the outlet and the signal transmission of the sowing cells to the processor which indicate the presence or absence of material in cells; and process the signals of sowing cells in the processor and provide direction to the operator, indicating one or more of the following conditions: two or more seeds in the sowing cells, or irregular movement of seed to be released, empty sowing cells, or blocked sowing cells.
EFFECT: method and the device allow increasing the uniformity of seeds sowing with a given planting density.
