FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used in the seed metering systems. The pneumatic seed meter for agricultural planter comprises a housing with an internal chamber, a disc mounted in it, rotatable about an axis, and an individual power source. A seed disc has a plurality of seed cells spaced radially around the axis to hold the seeds. The disc structure also has an inside gear which teeth are oriented to the disc axis. The individual power source is an electric motor. The latter has an output shaft on which the external gear is mounted. And the said external gear is engaged with the inside gear of the seed disc for direct regulation of the disc rotation speed. In addition, the output shaft axis is separated from the disc rotation axis.
EFFECT: invention provides the easy replacement of the seed disc and its strong hold within the seed meter housing.
