FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to devices for electrical stimulation of a vagus nerve. A device is designed so that it is completely enclosed in a vertebrate animal's auricle and comprises a body with an electronic control unit. For power or friction fixation of the device in the auricle, the body has two bent, wire-like and spring-actuated segments. A body comprises an electric excitation generator, and both bent, wire-like segments have matched electrodes for excitation application to a skin surface. The body comprises a parameter measurement device, namely a physiological, pathophysiological or physical parameter, and both bent, wire-like segments represent coil spring holders.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides higher effectiveness of nerve stimulation and simplifying the measurement process.
