SUBSTANCE: capability of signalling is provided about several values of decoding time for each sample at the level of a file format, which makes it possible to use various values of decoding time for each sample or a subset of samples when decoding a full flow and a subset of this flow. A unit of alternative decoding time is determined, designed to signal several values of decoding time for each sample. Such unit may contain a compact table version, which makes it possible to index from the alternative decoding time to quantity of samples, at the same time the alternative decoding time is the decoding time used for the sample in the case, when it is required to decode only a subset of an elementary flow stored on a path. Each record in the table contains multiple sequential samples with identical value of time difference and difference between these sequential samples, and a full "time-sample" chart may be built by adding differences.

EFFECT: reduced complexity of calculations in decoding of scaled video data.
