FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The proposed solar energy dryer contains a vertical chamber with thermally insulating walls, a base and a perforated bottom; a lid with a vent pipe; a solar heater connected (via a duct) with the subbottom space where thermal energy accumulators are located; guides inside the drying chamber for arrangement of appliances containing the product; and additional solar air heaters having light absorbing components. Each additional air heater is designed in the form of a heating chamber with an influx duct in the outer wall. On the lower inner surface of the sun heater there are helical grooves made arranged longitudinally from the inlet hole to the duct connecting the solar heater with the subbottom space. On the lower surface of the wall of each additional heater there are grooves made in the shape of concentric circles. The lower wall of the solar heater is bimetal with the bimetal material on the side of the solar heater inner surface has a heat conductivity coefficient exceeding that of the material on the side of the solar heater outer wall by a factor of 2.0-2.5.
EFFECT: solar energy dryer maintains specified parameters of the product drying process when the air is contaminated with finely dispersed solid and drop particles.
