FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may in production of axially symmetric billets. Swaging out is performed in two steps. At first step, billet edges are leveled, said billet being located on side surface by gravity. Edges are leveled by applying the load along biller axis. At second stage, said billet is deformed to preset level. Edge leveling and deformation to preset level are performed in one or two machining stages. Biller is locates either vertically or horizontally.
EFFECT: higher quality.
